Newtown Artist Management was founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic by lead agent Andrea Davison and actor Craig Conway. At a time when many agencies were closing their doors and countless artists were losing representation, Andrea and Craig stepped in to support and mentor those impacted by the uncertainty. This experience inspired the creation of Newtown Artist Management, a dedicated agency committed to providing artists with reliable guidance, representation, and opportunities.
Since its establishment, Newtown has navigated a rapidly changing world and industry. Challenges such as union actions, strikes, and evolving production landscapes have tested the resilience of the creative community. Despite these hurdles, Newtown has focused on building strong relationships with UK, US, and global partners and collaborators. These partnerships allow us to offer artists the support and connections they need to pursue their ambitions on an international scale.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Andrea Davison
Andrea Davison is Newtown’s lead agent and business specialist. After earning a degree in Performing Arts from Sunderland University, Andrea performed in various stage, television, and film productions. While she eventually shifted her focus away from acting, Andrea developed a wealth of expertise working with other agencies and industries outside of entertainment.
Her sharp negotiating skills, legal knowledge, and exceptional communication abilities brought her back to the industry she loves. Andrea now applies her extensive experience to ensuring Newtown’s artists are protected, nurtured, and positioned for success. Her goal is to help artists pursue their dreams with confidence and clarity.
Craig Conway
Craig Conway brings over 30 years of experience as an actor, producer, writer, and director to Newtown. His career spans regional, national, and international productions, both in front of and behind the camera. As a founder of the agency, Craig offers invaluable insight, support, and mentorship to Newtown’s clients, drawing from his deep understanding of the industry.
In addition to his work at Newtown, Craig is actively developing in-house productions and collaborating with industry professionals. These initiatives aim to create new opportunities for Newtown’s clients to showcase their talents.
Together, Andrea and Craig bring a unique blend of expertise, passion, and dedication to Newtown Artist Management. Their professional partnership and personal one—drives the agency’s vision. As a family business with global ambitions, Newtown is committed to fostering the careers of its artists while continuing to grow and adapt in an ever-changing industry.

However, they remain steadfast in their commitment to fair and transparent practices, ensuring all clients are cast purely on the basis of talent rather than their attachment to the agency.
